Sharp and Hitachi in LCD price-fixing probe

Hitachi and Sharp, the two suppliers of LCD screens for Nintendo’s hand-held DS games console, are being investigated over price fixing. Japans’ Fair Trade Commission has visited both companies, looking for evidence that the pair conspired a common price for the supply of LCD panels to Nintendo.
