loving the look of that and meets my requirements perfectly,any ideas of what the lifestation hd cost with the 1.5tb memory.

Apart from the fact that it probably costs 4 times as much as buying standalone players and the general public already think they are too expensive so it is basically irrelevant to the hd format war

The hugely expensive but awesome Kaleidescape System (video and audio only) or Axonix mediamax do the same thing and have been around for a while now. When you factor in the amount of hard drive space you will need for HD recording you are generally looking at spending several thousand pounds an something like this! I priced up the axonix system for 4 rooms and it came to over 10K!
I would love to own one of these systems and despite having a very understanding wife it would end in divorce if i spent that much money!

Just another overpriced HTPC. Save some cash and build one yourself. Even the case is off the shelf.
