There seems to be plenty stock in Edinburgh, however most retailers (cheekily) are only selling in bundles.
To be honest, it may be the case as the Wii is near impossible to get, and the 360 is an affordable alternative.

Its basically a 2 horse race now with the wii being impossible to find the next best (better) thing to go for it the 360

All the papers are offering cheap packages

Looks like even with the recent price drop the ps3 is still lagging behind

Even the recent PS3 price drop makes the PS3 still an unaffordable machine for a xmas present. Better deals and a better selection of games/software are on the 360.

came to Portugal and you will find plenty of wii and Xbox 360, not the same with PS3. It seems price is no problem for portuguese people.

I have family over in Germany and they tell me there are Wii's everywhere in the shops. Their kids are all more interested in PS3's though, and as there seems to be heavy marketing of Blu Ray over there they seem to be thinking that the PS3 would be ideal with the games for the kids and the Blu Ray for them to watch films. Be interesting to see how the console sales shape up Europe wide over the Christmas period. Myself I'd be happy with a PS3 or 360...
