A second PlayStation 3 price cut has been announced, this time for Canada. Sony has instructed Canadian retailers to cut the price of the 60GB PlayStation 3 to 549 Canadian dollars. What was the old canadian price cos VG+ were charging $750 weren't they? If VG+ dropped the price to $550 it would be definitely worth considering!

So that equates to £260 on todays exchange rate, BUT the UK price will probably end up being dropped to £389, but we'll wait and see with a faint hope

They really need to get the price below that IMHO - in the immediate term they need to get the price of console & game to less than £399. Even better - lets hope Thursday's announcement is the arrival of the 'budget' model at £299!

Nuts! I was thinking of buying one tomorrow. Looks like I'll have to wait now. I don't suppose they'll give refunds to those who have bought in the few weeks before the price drop?

I was wanting one as well but recent press is making me hang on. Roll on Thursday if announcement is due! Price has gotta be right though.
