Re: Marks and Spencer launches own-brand LCD TV range

I bought one, MS 1906F 20" model with DVD just over 3 weeks ago, wish I hadn't...

First one refused to eject first DVD inserted and had to be dismantled instore in order to get it back.

Second one, after less than 3 weeks has developed major lip sync probs after 15 mins of viewing and has just now began pixilating all over the place.

Anyone know who makes this rubbish for M&S and why have M&S risked their reputable brand on this standard of technology. I have yet to read a good review anywhere, and lets face it £299 isn't exactly chicken feed...

Has anybody else had similar problems out there?

Thumbs down M&S 5 Year Guarantee!!!

I bought a 26inch M&S LCD TV which cost 429GBP, had lip sync problem for which they replace tv. Now two years later have same lip sync problem for which it was sent away for repair and has been supposedly fixed, but still has same same problem with Lip Sync and Pixelation on screen and now also has rattling speaker, M&S Technology say it is now a reception problem and I have to just put up with it!! (Although they replaced the board for lip sync!! Other TV's in house fine), so I am not a happy chap!!!. In my opinion DON'T BUY A TV FROM M&S IF YOU ARE AFTER A 5 YEAR GUARANTEE. You are better off going to either FENWICKS or JOHN LEWIS as their after-service is excellent.
