Re: Philips announces 120Hz, LED-based Ambilight TVs

If its 3m sec for panel thats impressive, if not 1080p at this stage its crap as it should be and also all tvs should at least hdmi 1.3 now if not and your thinking of a large screen just hold off a little more. Also take into account samsungs new 17000:1 contrast PAVV tvs launched in korea 1920x1080 @ 40 46 and 52 inch. Hope they are made available soon in europe

Re: Philips announces 120Hz, LED-based Ambilight TVs

Hi Yanners

Do those Samsung TV's you mentioned have HDMI 1.3?
I'm looking to get a new TV, maybe a 37" or a 42" and I wanna make sure it has HDMI 1.3 so its a bit more future proof.

I'm finding it hard to find any TV's with this new HDMI 1.3 standard. I'm looking at the Samsung S73 series, but it doesn't say whether its HDMI 1.3 or not.

Got any recommendations yourself?

120 is a multiple of 24 (x5).
24Hz Multiple frequencies = No Judder, not Pioneer!
