I got a Mega Drive for my 7th birthday in 1992. So, as far as I'm concerned, things haven't really changed in terms of infant gadget ownership or am I the exception? Having said that, I didn't get a mobile phone until I was 17 and still barely use one. Perhaps I'm too old to be a text freak or, again, maybe I'm the exception...

My daughter is 5 3/4 and 4 days (so she tells me) and she certainly likes gadgets. She can work the TV and the Sky box, has no trouble finding C Beebies on Freeview. She was staying with my brother and found C Beebies on their TV, they didn't even know it existed. (That's C Beebies. They were aware of the existence of their TV) She loves phones and computers too. I have a feeling that this is going to cost me a lot of money in the coming years as she can wind me round her little finger and will undoubtedly do so when she wants something.

My Son has just turned 1, today

you already cant get the sky remote of him.(He also tries to rob the sky card, from any sky box he finds )

and he loves smacking the keyboard of my PC too
