HD DVD titles to outnumber Blu-ray in Europe

This is fantastic news,i love HD DVD and more studio support is a good sign,i wont be buying blue ray with its mpeg 2 codecs movies,hd dvd movies have better onscreen extras with its HDi interface and seem to edge blue ray on PQ.

I have to say I am pleased to hear that a bigger push is being put behind this format.

I won't get involved in having a pop at Blu-ray, but at this time I favour HD-DVD and wish more manufactures would release hardware.

Anyway, only have the Xbox Add-on and 5 or 6 films so far and have to say I am extremely pleased with the results.

TBH it has been know for a long while that HD DVD studio in Europe is significantly greater than BluRay - especially in the non-English countries such as Spain and France. Far too much attention focus on the 'big' five/seven US studios which, although extremely important especially in the short term, aren't anywhere near the 'full' picture.
