Good going Sony. People buying a games console are being fobbed off with (effectively) a DVD instead of games because it will prevent the bundles from being priced at silly prices

Ironically this could harm BluRay more than anything: if 95% of people plug the PS3 into a non-HDTV they may well not see any benefit in the new format and simply avoid buying further discs. Especially when they find the disc won't work in their other DVD players/PCs/laptops/Macs etc.
