good news!now maybe the boffins will concentrate on producing a common hi-def player with us the public in mind.remember vhs v beta well once bitten twice shy,dvd in it's current state has run it's course i.e all the classics have been released,there is only so much money in the cash cow,mine is nearly spent,one machine i might be tempted

I agree its the industries own fault, two standards!!! certainly preventing me from buying, and I am an enthusiast.
