The Toshiba G30 alreadys ships with a HD-DVD Drive, probably this model.., anyway if your looking to get a PC Version then get the XBox 360 HD-DVD Drive in November if it does not work Via USB then maybe removing the drive will work and it will probably be a SATA Drive..

The G30 ships with a combi HD DVD-ROM & DVD-/+R(W) (DL) drive. Likewise so do the Acer and HP models. This new drive adds HD DVD-R(W) writing.

I missed the part about the writing, shame ot see that we will see two drives ot market, both a read and write drive, where as with blue ray one drive does it all...

We will presumably be seeing BD-ROM drives in the not to distant future - they obviously exist as they are incorporated into the PS3 and Samsung BDP1000 (not to mention the other upcoming BluRay machines).
