Toshiba announces second gen HD DVD players

Toshiba has unveiled second generation HD DVD players for the American market.The two models, first seen at the European IFA show, comprise all new silicon. The HD-A2 will debut in October for 499 US dollars, its bigger brother, the 1080p HD-XA2, will sell for 999 dollars.
