Sony has belatedly entered the UK PVR market, with its SVR-S500. Sporting a modest 80GB hard drive, which offers 80 hours of recording capacity in extended play or 40 hours in standard play, the unit has two digital TV tuners and an eight day EPG. This slimline unit will sell for around 250 UK pounds

Worringly it seems as tho it doesnt record the bitstream.............
