Post LG delivers new HDD DVD recorder

<img src="http://www.homecinemachoice.com/images/news/8725.jpg" align="right">LG has launched a new hard disk drive DVD recorder: the RH200MH. This new deck features a healthily large 250GB hard drive and dual layer DVD recording system – enough storage, reckons LG, to hold up to 170 films or 230 football matches. Re: LG delivers new HDD DVD recorder

I bought one of these and it is going back!

It can fast dub and it can edit but it can't do both, so if you record hours of recording and then want to split it up you immediately lose the abilty to fast dub.

Another limitation is that you can't divide recordings if there are just 60 on the disk, this is a bit limiting for a unit with a 250gb drive.

Another thing that could be improved is the menu, it is a sort of icon view and only shows 6 recordings per screen. I would have preferred a list view or an option of a list view.

Today I tried to combine two recordings and it just lost the second one.

It seems that the Japanese recorders do not have these limitations e.g the Panasonic.
