Post BBC iPlayer launches Wii channel

The BBC iPlayer will be available on the Nintendo Wii as a dedicated channel from 18 November.

Is a dedicated wii channel. You need to download it from the wii shop channel. And you obviously require a internet connected to the wii.

Just got around to adding the iPlayer channel and it's great! Very easy to use and the wireless connection copes just fine with streaming (have been watching James Mays Toy Stories on it just now!).

That's awesome Thanks very much! No more crowding round the PC to watch stuff off iPlayer.... I can see me having to upgrade my broadband package to the unlimited download flavour though as a result of this development...

I feel your pain haha.
I have found that my bandwidth has increased by over 60% since I properly discovered the iPlayer. I've got to get around to setting my Wii up in the living room and using the iPlayer on a 22" not a 19". Also less anti-social hehe
