That idea makes sense for most types of games, RPGs (pretending to be a Wizard or a Knight or some such) FPS' (a practically unkillable soldier etc...). Even racing games (have all the money to buy and experience some of the greatest and fastest vehicles ever) and strategy games (commanding huge amounts of soldiers in a real-time or turn-based setting.
But I refuse to believe that you "can't" learn how to use either a guitar or; in this case a pair of decks. I just think it belittles the whole thing and means people will miss out in real feeling of learning how to do these things. Especially when it costs
roughly the same.
Although, it is obviously slightly more expensive to buy decks, a mixer and a sound system to be able to learn how to DJ (not to mention the vinyl, or more likely CD-Rs), I still think its around the same price if you consider how much an XBox 360/PS3 and TV cost together...
