Re: Google modifies Europe book plans

Scanning of somone else work seems to border on theft.

It seems akin to me going into a shop, buying an out of copyright book, changing the publishers name to mine then offering it to the public as my product.

Should they not be required to TYPE the whole book in from scratch.

Does this now mean we can take high quality photos of famous artworks and then offer digital copies to the public?

I am off to the louver with a 50mp Camera!
