Tablet For Kids!!

Hi,

Next week we are off on a road trip to Devon from Kent which is always a killer - especially when we know we're in for rain

Anyway I have 2 boys (age 7 & 4) that argue like crazy about every single little thing. My idea is to get them a couple of cheap older modeled tablets that I can fill up with games that they can play on the journey down, instead of beating the hell out of each other. My budget doesn't stretch far at a tiny £100 for both! I'm not after anything flash, just something that isn't going to crash every 5 seconds, and games aren't going to run poorly. It needs to be able to play movies reasonably well and maybe have an sd slot or decent memory to store. Wifi is optional but would be great. My wife and I have android phones and love them so must be able to support android, unless someone can persuade me to go a different route.

Thanks in advance

This looks like it will do the trick ...

Sinvigo® R75 White 7” 1.0GHz Android 4.0 Mali-400MP GPU 5-Point Capacitive HD-3D Games Wifi Flash 10.3 Tablet PC

Sinvigo R75 White 7

£52 each. I have no idea if they are any good, but they run the latest Android software and can play movies and games so should be fine.

You could just save the £100 though and load some games on your phones and let the kids use them for a few hours ....

Thanks McKnuckles!!

I was thinking the same thing with regards to 'lending' them our phones, until I realised I'll be using mine as satnav and my wife has a new S3.........she won't even let me anywhere near it, let alone the kids

Plus it might give the eldest something to use instead of our laptop for the future.
