Are you asking if it can be hooked up to a DVD drive or do you just want to know how to get the movies off the DVDs and onto the tablet?

If it is the main film you want then the best way is to convert it to a MKV on the PC, there are many ways to do that.
MakeMKV for example.

MakeMKV will do the job, but the films will be around 4Gb each so will eat up space quickly. I therefore compress all my movies that go onto my tablet using Handbreak and can get them to under 1Gb per film. Due to the smaller size of the tablets screen I don't think there is too much quality lost doing this, but wouldn't want to play these files on my plasma TV as it would likely look poor on a 46" screen.

Mark.

I haven't tried it, but VLC on PC/MAC can play just about any video file and is available (in beta form) for Android:
VideoLAN - VLC media player for Android™

EDIT: It seems that VLC does not yet support the chipset in the Galaxy Tab

Good discussion of video player software here
