Can anyone suggest how to change the colour of my sub?

I have a cherry velo spl 800 but I need a black one.

Can anyone suggest the best way of doing this without selling/buying?

Please.

A black fablon [local B&Q] should do the trick!

Or you could take it to a good car spraying business like i once did with a fridge i needed to be sprayed silver........they did a v/good job and i guess a metalic gloss black would look great with some fine flec's in the mix.

Re: Can anyone suggest how to change the colour of my sub?

Depends whether you want to retain the grain of the existing wood.

If you don't - then as mentioned - Fablon

If you do, a can of primer, then a couple of cans of either Matt, Satin or Gloss spray paint, should do the trick. (Delete as applicable, depending on req finish)

Jobs a good'un!

Just bung a black cloth over it.

Only you will ever know the difference.
