Svs Pb12/2

Hi

I have the above sub which I purchased from AV sales last year. Does anybody know if there are some upgraded drivers available for it? I seem to remember reading about something along these lines on here. If so what are they and do they offer a substantial benefit? Finally where can I buy them and how much?

Thanks!

I think all the upgrades were more than a year old so you probably have the latest drivers anyway. 12.3 if memory serves correctly?

Suggest you send the serial number to SVS and see what they have on record?

SVS upgrade offer for 12.3v driver was priced £99 for me, a year ago. IIRC 12.3 driver has black cone

Re: Svs Pb12/2

Ok, thanks - so my sub is likely to have the latest 12.3 drivers being a year old? If they were 12.3 they would look black and if they were the previous 12.2 they would be silver?

Being a heavy beast I don't really want to lift the sub over and remove the plinth to look - wonder if I could slide a mirror under there to see? Either that or as suggested, I'll send the serial number over to find out.

Thanks all

Hunker down with a torch should do it, I am pretty sure I have been able to see my Ultra driver in the past. A mirror should certainly clinch it

Re: Svs Pb12/2

Just to confirm, black cone = new driver, silver cone = old driver.
