Can you recommend me a sub?

I've just got myself a pair of Revolver RW33s to go with my Onkyo 605. I'll probably get a centre channel at some point but before that I need a nice sub!

Will be used for music and PS3 for games and BRs BUT since I don't want to upset the neighbours it doesn't need to have massive volume. Am looking to pay a few hundred quid for it though may stretch a bit for something special.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Can you recommend me a sub?

BK 200 or 300 seem to get good thoughts on the sub forum and offer a lot for the money

Very, Very happy with my MJ 150mkii expecially for its lovely bass tone (highly detailed even when pushing and reaching way down) and very musical.. If you can try demoing a sub really needs to sit in your room to show you how it will integrate..

I'd agree with that.

Mind you, so was your Sony.

Re: Can you recommend me a sub?

True, one of the best AV purchases I've ever made. With subs I think it makes sense to buy the best you can afford once rather than buying two poorer subs or trying to skimp because 'its only the sub'.

I'd love to try my Sony against more expensive models. Its a very capable beast.
