Monolith or XLS200

I have Mordaunt Short 914 floorstanding speakers. Would the XLS200 be a good match for them or should I get the Monolith. Or even something else altogether. I want it for music. Maybe the odd film or two. I used to have a Rel Q100E and found this quite adequate. How is the XLS200 in comparison?

Re: Monolith or XLS200

The XLS200 probably performs to a similar level to the Q100 although it is many years since I heard the REL. The Monolith in contrast will outperform both by a considerable margin in terms of volume, depth and lack of distortion
