Recommend a good home cinema sub with volume control

Hey,

Ive got a couple of 20 watt near field monitors used on my pc for my studio, and i wondered if u could recommend a good quality sub woofer with a volume control on the front/line volume control.

I assume in the power range of 50-70 watts to match the left and right speakers. I wanted a volume control for convenience sake. Ideally i dont want to pay loads, probably 80 quid max? Is that realistic?

Thanks,

That's a pretty tight budget, you might want to look at the second hand market.
Or, these are cheap as chips

Personally i would save your money. Maybe a nice pair of headphones would be more suitable for use at a pc.
