There has been quite a few of these subs for sale on ebay recently, is there something wrong with this model?

I may be in the market for a new sub if my SPL800r ca't be repaired and this was one model I was thinking of(wife friendly)

Any info appreciated

Re: B&w Pv1

If you go to page two of the threads in this forum you will find a thread entitled "Spring has sprung in Finland". The first subwoofer in the list near the end of the thread should interest you. Not a subwoofer for room-shaking film effects. More for bass reinforcement for music. It is considered "quick" but lacking serious "welly" at the bottom end. As such it seems poor value considering the serious alternatives at this price level. I have seen one but wasn't tempted to listen to it. If you want a compact sub look at the SVS SB12Plus. A 14" cube.
