Hi there, you won't need a second sub but you could run a stereo-RCA cable instead of using a Y-adapter at the subwoofer input (if no mono input provided).
However, I guess the main idea was to use it for mixed-setups, ie people who like to use subs for music at both fronts to increase bass, but connected via line level.

Hi Riener,
thanx for answer.
Why should I connect active subwoofer via stereo chinch cable? The mono one is good enough.
I think I;ll get more powerfull and clean bass with two subs.
More, floorshaking will bi simmetrical, and bass presure more equal...

Post Second Subwoofer for Home cinema

Hi,
I was wondering what is second subwoofer out for?
Do I really need second active subwoofer?
Where will be its position? For what purpose?
Any comments will be appreciate,

Not saying that two subs aren't any good, but "normal" AV setups require only one.
Surely you can add a second one (thought about it myself before) but be careful with the placing so the bass doesn't cancel each other out.
