Experimenting with my Ultra/2

With all this talk of forward or downward firing subs, i thought id check out my Ultra/2 in the forward firing position to see is there is any noticable diffrence, & what i have to say is........HELL YEAH.........I can feel them presure waves hit me a lot stronger, i just need to knock up some sort of grill to protect the drivers from my boy, who seem to be able to destroy everything he can get his little hands on..........

Two visible TV-12 drivers!

Don't forget that by arranging it on it's side you've very much changed how the ports interact with the outside environment. Definitely looks nice though.

Thats right, i would have to go thro the setup with the BFD ect all over again, but it will be worth it. I have put it all back together as it was for now, i got to wait till i get more time to do it all properly..........It does look great with the two drivers bouncing about

Nice experiment, seen it elsewhere before, but that was with a PB12-Plus/2 and only pictures then.

Well you chaps may prefer the "topless" look but I like to use a little imagination myself.

I suppose it's a maturity thing.

SVS porn? Whatever next?

Well ask SVS to make you a transparent tube or skirt for your Ultra.

(You can tease yourself by putting a see-through sock on it)

Is the ultras shielded or is it just luck they aren’t pulling on the electro guns on your TV, man they looking nice, get a grill to protect them from small wandering hands that like nothing more to exploring.

Unfortunatly they are not shielded, as they are in the pic the magnets are just about far enough away as not to effect the picture, any closer & it does. When i get time i will be attempting to make grill of somesort to prototect the drivers, but as for now, I have put the sub back together as it was , to keep the drivers safe from little hands.
