Power Cable for SVS Sub

Hi all,

I have hopefully got my new PB12-Ultra coming in the early part of May (fingers crossed). I realise the power cable supplied comes with the two prong eartless plug on it. I have a fairly good lead at work from a spare TFT screen which has a 5A fuse in it. My question is, is this lead suitable for the Sub? It has the standard kettle end that fits the sub ok from pictures i have seen of the amp. I was mainly concerned about the fuse. Is 5A correct?

Thanks in advance for the help

Cheers

My svs subs have 5amp fuses. You can use the lead you indicate, on one of mine I just cut the US plug off and put a 5amp fused UK plug on instead.

I used a computer lead on mine, the thing. Your lead should be just fine.

I built myself one based on the sids posh power cord specs. Seemed to make a small difference over a standard cable to my ears.
