DD12 Placement

OK so got it hooked up etc but reckon have a fundamental placement problem. Have teh sub facing the fronts from listening position. - i.e. more or less under the right rear surround.

This is not ideal as I get all sorts of phase issues - anyone got this arrangement to work well ?... I do have a spot up front right corner (to right of front right ) - but this has a severe wife nagging factor ... shuold help the phasing and broaden sweet spot somewhat ?

Have not tried it in this pos - and before I do wanted to see what you guys had most success with ... btw can't wait for EQ2.0!!!
