Switch on the REL Q150E ?

Has anyone tried to mount a switched setting with two positions- music or film?
I'm not talking about the SLAM switch here, but something that controls the level.
Pop music settings can be quite different from classical music too...
Maybe some switched preset pots?
Anybody came up with an elegant solution?

Couldn't you use the neutrik cable for this and set the fronts to large? It has it's own volume control, then you could listen to youre music in a different mode on the amp that only uses the fronts. Not sure what the different modes are on different amps but the direct mode or stero would probally do this i think,

Hope someone might explain it better, i sked the Rel guy at Bristol and he could,nt give me an answer!!

Yes, you're right- but I use my Denon DVD-2900 für multi channel SACD and DVD-audio (music!) and standard DVD's (Films!).
Very expensive subs of course have a remote to set the level...
Cheers
