Alpha, love the look of the 400 and the main speaker. They match a treat. Plus the height is the same as your unit. Result!
Is that a glass top on the 400?

Do you guys run those subs together?
400 and mono
400 and 200
How do you find the play together?
Great thread, can't wait to add mine. =)

I'm jealous of A10's PMCs, but also chuffed that the xxls400 can hold its own in such illustrious company of speakers and amplification!

I moved my 200 on, so I just run the 400DF on its own. I could not believe my luck when I put the 400 where it is and it matched the height of the table . No glass on top, just the angle of the flash I think.

I have said this before, but I still believe that the 200 and 400 are two of the best bargains in the world of hifi/AV.

Cheers

These are all good but can I add a suggestion? It would be useful to have an everyday object (book, mug, bottle etc) in the pic somewhere to gauge relative size, particularly in relation to the Monolith. I know the BK site has dimensions but an object in the pic would make it far easier to visualise

LOL - just noticed there's a mug in a picture on the BK site as well as teddys and phones in the above. Obviously wasn't paying attention - but other contributions welcome regardless

Guys, could you please say what finish they're in as well? It's quite obvious in some cases, but 2-3 of the finishes can come out relatively close depending on camera/lighting and the veneer they have in stock. Thank you! Excellent so far, I'm now a little scared of how big my future Monolith will be...

I have one in matt black. Never seen one in white, it's quite striking; very nice.

It's nice to see the Mono holding its own next to such accomplished speakers as the MS Performance series

Alpha

I also have the OB1i's, CB6i and TB2i's in Light Oak - is that the same finish as your BK sub?
And would you recommend it over a B&W PV1? My only concern is that I live in a flat with neighbours beneath me, hence the PV1.

Thanks
Derek

This is my Monolith Plus FF in light oak.It was much lighter when I got it; now it is a more honeyed warmer hue.The picture quality is not fantastic - my new camera is on the blink and had to use my phone instead.

Hi Mollywop. They are Independant connections so I think you can connect to disparate systems. However I would make sure only one system is on at a time...there is also the possibility of Ground Loops I.e. buzzing
