We've had movies, we've had music, it's now the turn of TV!

I believe in one of Russ.Will's reviews he mentioned that EastEnders had some good sub bass in it (can't confirm myself obviously!)

The new series of Top Gear seems to be well recorded, and

as a new parent, I can confirm that In the Night Garden has some cracking bass - catch the Ninky-Nonk anyone!

I'll bite.

Are Songs of Praise still doing pedal organ backgrounds?

Or is it all acoustic guitar and tambourines these days?

The best TV bass SQ I've heard so far is on the historic American tractor programmes on Rural TV. (on satellite)

Strangely the SQ on the British tractor programmes is absolutely anaemic.

They have even less bass than Dr Who!

ITV film repeats are totally emasculated too!

Star Wars "pod race" recently was like listening to several men electric shaving simultaneously.

'In Treatment' the Sky 1 therapy show with Gabriel Byrne has some sub moments that take me by surprise. It's generally a quiet show with lots of chat but when the makers are looking for a bit of emotional resonance it's often accompanied by a deep rumble from the sub. Always catches me out

Some of the HD trailers are quite good for TV...not really a program though. There's the occasional mic thump too on some programs

American Chopper on Discovery HD is quite bass-heavy but it's mainly Paul Snrs voice
