Hi, am new to all this but looking for a setup to go with my 42g10, bd60, ps3, wii and soon sky hd. Ideally I would like to keep the budget to £1000 but have been hearing good things about the rxv1065 and kef 3005se which come in at £1150 then cables on top. help please

Perhaps posting in the speakers and amp sections will yield more answers. I'm sure a mod will move this for you soon though.

If your budget is 1k for amp and speakers, that would rule out the 3005se. If your looking for a sub/sat speaker system though, then I would say you dont need to spend any more than £400 on the amp as sats are easy for amps to drive, and IMO the extra 100 on an AVR would be better spent put towards your speakers.

If I'm wrong on the price front, I would love a link to where your getting that amp and speaker package for 1150 all in
