Which sub to match Tannoys DC6T

Hi all,

I am close to buy my new home cinema set-up based on the Tannoys DC6T (front) + DC6 LCR and DC4 and the back. The only thing I am missing is the sub. What are the alternatives to the Tannoy’s own TS-12 sub? Can I get something better for the money? It doesn’t match the system either way (visually I mean). As far as I know you can get better ones for the money. Any suggestions?

having checked the spec on Tannoys site i would have thought a Bk 400 would do the job and only slightly cheaper but reports here indicate its a Nice bit of kit, and may in all honesty out perform the TS-12 in a back to back.

Ay thoughts about the SVS SB12 Plus? Is there something that can match that one for the price? I've read that it's really really good....

Hmmm, SB12 Plus is discontinued.. Shame.. My mind was already set on it. Now the search is all over again!!!! Aaaaaaaa.!!!! So what could I get instead of SVS for around £600? Any suggestions....?
