Neutrik cable?

Hi,
we now have a Gemini 2 which came with a black neutrik cable.
,and dont want to pull carpet up to hide it. I will be connecting up both this and the Phono but the black cable will be an eyesore against our light carpet and white skirting.

I could re-wire a white cable into the connection but what cable should i use to either extend it or re-wire it? thanks all.

P.s, just read on the cable its a Low Noise cable?

Re: Neutrik cable?

The Neutrik connector uses screwed connections, it should be an easy swap out. If it proves too difficult to get apart, they only cost about £4 from Maplin. As for the cable, any old crap with three cores will suffice and as there is virtually no current flowing in the cable.

I should ask why you want to connect both cables though? What is your other kit?

Re: Neutrik cable?

cheers for that mate.
I will be feeding it from my Denon 2808 for home cinema via low level phono and bya Marantz stereo amp via the high level neutrik connection for all music.
Would thin 3 amp electric 3 core be ok?

Re: Neutrik cable?

I wondered if that was the case. Yes, any old three core cable will do.

Re: Neutrik cable?

Thanks again, i did notice the cable sent with the sub has very thin wires so as you say 3 amp should be fine.
Not sure what the Low Noise is allabout though?
