Re: Bassotronics....How low???

What you said is all so true.
In this world, there are all types of music.
I reproduce songs that cover almost all of the audio spectrum.
The reason I make some songs with such infrasonics is because not many people can reproduce these loudly without damaging there systems.
Thats the whole idea of mines. When I see (or hear in person) a sound system that reproduces these frequencies loudly with hardly any effort, I just simply say: "You are the king of bass".

Oh..my 42" tube is sealed. No port. Ports make too much noise and cancel out infrasonics. Unless the tube is as big as my house to get tuned to 10hz.

Thanks for your response.

So you actually call these infrasonic pulses "mines"?

That makes a big subwoofer a minesweeper!

I think you need a much bigger minesweeper yourself!

I think he meant to write 'mine' as in 'his ideas', instead of mines.
It's cool to communicated with someone whose song I know all too well (Bass, I love you). Bassotronics, tell us more about yourself if you don't mind

Well, it all started way back in 1995 when I was walking up the street in the urbanization where I live and I hear this constant bass sweep. I was ignorant to the bass. I went up to the house of which had these loud bass sweeps and I said "DAM"! The house was shakin, pots and pans dropin, I said to myself ***! Funny thing, it was comming from my friends house. My friends brother bought a downfiring 15" sub. He had it connected to a 1000 watt car amplifier with a 85 ampere power supply to run it. I started to talk to him about the set-up and such and then I made friends with him. I was interested in the Bass because I was freaked out at how this "Sound" was able to rumble things like an earthquake. The song he was playing was BASS EXPRESS by Bassman DJ Fury. As time past, I started to buy Bass CD's. Lots of em I loved. But some of them had cool rythyms but did not satisfy me much with the low notes. I kept on searching for the perfect beat. My sister's Husband introduced me to E-Jay (A music making program). I made approximatly 100 songs with the program. Only 2 of those songs are at my Soundclick site. 98% of all my songs are made with Fruity Loops. I said to myself, "Why waste hundreds of dollars in sound hardware when Fruity can do it all". By the way, I was introduced to Fruity Loops in 2002 by a friend in school. I started playing around with Fruity Loops and have a bunch of test songs. Some of which landed on Soundclick. One day, I was watching TV and saw a commercial of ZALES. I liked the piano rythym. I decided to "Pimp up" the piano riff of that song until Bass, I Love You came out. When I finnished the song, I new that the song would be a hit. The Zales commercial I mentioned is located at Youtube. Anyway, I kept on fine tunning my abbilities until today. I am always making new tracks. I have a total of 8 albums.

Here is a nice lossless version of Bass I love you for anyone looking for it

Thanks for that, I've been doing some tweaking of my setup over the past month or two and after playing that for the past half an hour - Slowly getting louder. I'm unsure whether I need to upgrade anymore! Our lass even enjoyed it when the tone dropped and the (half full) glasses on the coffee table shook!

Highly amusing video here, the song sounds familiar you know it's going to end in disaster with a 3" woofer but a useful lesson in why you shouldn't push too hard

YouTube - 3" Subwoofer and 120 watts
