Are there any disadvantages when buying from USA ebay, they are much cheaper than in the UK.

The products are the same, but you'll get no warranty support, and you're likely to get stung for import duty anyway.

Hi, bought one myself of ebay USA. BNIB Paid around £650 in total a year ago, zp100 x2, controller, charging craddle and plugs to connect to uk power supply...well chuffed with it. No problems and no import duties, reckon i saved around £300.

I've just bought a ZP80 from US e-bay - BNIB - total cost (inc. delivery) was £165 !
- no duty and it works perfectly !
Very happy - it's a saving of about £100 !

Just added a ZP80 to my system...£170 BNIB from USA again. Another £80 ish saved

i also bought on ebay usa no probs at all sent as an $18 speaker to avoid import duty i had problems with the set up but called sonos support in the states without any hassle.mines is out of warranty now but you would have to return the unit back to the usa.you dont hear of them going faulty very often
