Took the plunge and bought the Sonos system

I've finally gone and done it and splashed the cash and ordered the BU130 bundle. Lord knows what the wife will say or what yarn I'll need to spin.

I think I go along the lines of its and iPod for the house and blag the rest !

Anybody have any hints, tips or pitfalls.

The datasource is my buffalo linkstation pro 500Gb. The first unit (zp80) will be wired to my ethernet switch (wired to my adsl router) via 2 VeseNet 85Mbps homeplugs.

Going to get that working first before attempting a wired / wireless link of the zp100 in another room.

Re: Took the plunge and bought the Sonos system

I bought the homeplugs from Amazon, pretty standard price, but for the Sonos Bu130 I paid £665 with free delivery from www.ripcaster.co.uk

Yeah, it's amazing how wife friendly they are actually. I'm sure you'll be fine when you get it set up and running.

Likewise!
- even to the point that we've now got 4 zones - on her suggestion!
