sound levels through a squeezebox

hi
ive been ripping cds in flac to my qnap 201 and playing through a squeezebox 3,sound is excellent,only problem i have is turning sound up and down as the cds have different sound levels,is there a way of bringing sound levels simlar to each other[settings in squeezebox]i really dont want to start ripping again as ive filled 500gig up of my 1500gig harddrives

Check out the Normalisation guide at www.slimdevices.com to set ReplayGain on the tracks & enabling this on in the SB

Yep, Replaygain is the answer to this problem

You should not need to re-rip
