How many Squeezebox models are there?

I am interested in purchasing a Squeezebox but am not sure how many different models there are. I have seen wired and wireless but the wireless models seem to be listed in different ways. For example I sometimes see it listed as an MP3 player and sometime not. It is an expensive item so I really do not want to make a mistake. Any help would be much appreciated.

What exactly is it that you want it to do?

There are two basic versions of the SB 3, as you have already identified, the wired and wireless (which can also be used in a wired configuration).

Other than that it's just a question of colour. White and Silver, Black and Silver, or the wireless only All Black.

Slim have actually stopped the wired only model now, they just do the combined wired/wireless one
