Sonos from the US

Im going to the states soon and am hoping to get some sonos stuff whilst im out there - about £1800 worth - which over here would cost me over £2800

Thing is - Sonos Inc. Will only accept a US Billed credit Card or Money Wire as payment. Seeing as I want to use a credit card (you cant wire from them) and its a UK card - Im kinda stuck.

Its an expensive system I know - but I hope to get 4x ZP100 2x ZP80 and 3x Controllers for £1800 which is pretty good. I refuse to pay £2800+ for the same system from the UK.

So unless anyone can suggest a way to pay - I think I may have to consider another system.

I bought mines off ebay(recommended by another forum member) in the states shipped over within 5 days by fedex i paid the seller using my credit card saved a fortune they also send it as a gift to save the duty his ebay id was lightning! maybe worth checking out.

bear in mind if you have any warranty issues it would have to go back to the states but their telephone support is superb.

Why not go and buy from a store that sells them, rather than direct from Sonos?

There's a search facility on the Sonos website - put in the zip code of where you're going and it should throw up some local shops that sell them.

Thanks for the help everyone - DEREKS - I looked up that "lightning!" and his service seems to have slipped somewhat. The prices are more than Sonos direct! Shame.

Onwards with the search - may consider something else now.
