HD HiFi

I'm after a hifi with a big hard disk (60gb+).
Ideally it'll link to my pc to transfer the mp3's aswell.
Any suggestions other than the sonos?
Oh, budget is sub £500 inc speakers (only want 2)

Just seen the Yamaha CDR-HD1500 and it's perfect, well almost, but doesn't leave much £ for speakers.

Could try for an old AudioRequest on ebay, but they don't come up often.

The alternative would be a wireless streamer and attached server.

Wireless streamers (low to high price):
Netgear MP101 (ebay only)
Terratec Noxon
Roku M1000/M1001
Slimdevices Squeezebox 3

These range from £50 for the MP101 to £230 for the Squeezebox.

Then depending on the size of hard disk needed, a server could be added within budget (with 80Gb you are looking at £185 or less)

Andrew
