And of course it is also an internet radio which I find very useful as I spend a lot of time abroad so it's nice to be able to listen to Radio Ulster sitting in my apartment in Warsaw!
tiny display and butt uglyness put me off this though.

Not exactly the type of device I'd connect up to my Living room AV gear

Well, it doesn't need a bigger display to be able to select a radio station or an album to play. And I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not that I'd call it beautiful, but it's not that bad! And there simply isn't anything else out there that does what the AE does, at least not that I've found.

I guess the thing I like about the AE is that it is small - and not something for my front living room. Don't get me wrong I want something for there as well !! but I'm hoping that will end up being something like PS3...

PS3 Specs (allegedly)

the only question will be what and how is it streamed ? if at all....

until then, this should keep me out of trouble.

The Streamium products I've looked at before but never quite been convinced. What about this latest 4000i one?
