Sound decisions prove a hit for Linn

I did however go to Stone Audio near Poole a couple of weeks ago and the MD there was off to their HQ to see new products have a meeting etc.

Seems like there are some exciting products about to be announced methinks!

Well, they've just announced the Sekrit DS-I and Majik DS-I. These are both products with built in preamps and power amps, like the Sneaky DS, but they also both have external analogue and digital inputs. The Sekrit (£1500) is designed for custom installs and has no display, but the Majik (£2500) has a display as well as better sound!

One of Britain's oldest hi-fi firms today announced it is to stop making compact disc players because of a lack of demand.

"We launched a range of streaming music players alongside our CD players, and we found consumers were overwhelmingly buying streaming solutions," said Linn's chief Ivor Tiefenbrun.
