Any one else have trouble with the Duet charging the controller handset
I have a SB Duet.
I like the Duet but I have ongoing trouble with the power supply charging the controller handset.
I think that quite often the battery pins dont connect thru to their contacts in the battery case and/or the controller pins don't connect thru to the charging socket.

Anyone else experience similar problems with SB Duet? any advice please welcome?

Yes, I have the same problem & it is very common.

Many threads about it here Squeezebox Duet - Squeezebox : Community : Forums.

At the moment my solution is as many others, put a piece of card behind it to force it forwards, so that it charges. This is not ideal, but the other ways are: get a replacement charger or take it apart to fix the contacts.

I contacted Logitech support and on 2nd attempt got email from someone sensible.
They advised me to return the controller to supplier (Richer S) for a replacement. After reading the forum I think I need a new controller, battery and charger!
