I'm sorry if this has been covered before. I have searched but did not find a definitive answer.

We already have a Squeezebox Boom we are loving. It's in the kitchen. Control this from the remote or wirelessly from the PC in the living room.

I want to get a Squeezebox receiver for the proper hifi set up which is also in the living room. However I don't want to buy the remote. I'd rather control it from the PC, across a large room from the hifi so again via Wifi. From what I have read I believe this is possible; or else using a Nokia N95 8GB as a remote, which I already have, instead of the Logitech.

I *think* I have found a guide to setting up the receiver without the remote. However can anyone point me toward a guide for setting up an N95 as a remote (if that can even be done), and does that make the initial set up any easier?

PS We also have a Harmony One, is this going to help anywhere?

you can use anything with a browser on it. There's a special "handheld" skin for mobile devices.
Open
http://<your server's address>:9000/handheld
On your Nokia and that should do it.

I find the mobile skin to be the easiest to use
