FM transmission

I have been using a "Belkin Tunecast" to send music around the house using FM radios to pick it up.

It is a great concept, but the drawbacks are,

1. It isn,t powerful enough. Not quite enough range.

2. Local radio stations swamp it , so you must choose your fm frequency with care.

What I want to know is; does anybody make a more powerful (but legal!) FM Stereo Hi-Fi Transmitter, ideally mains powered, that I can connect to my Audio System and transmit over a decent range say 20, 30 metres, for a sort of home radio station?

Pretty soon, when we all go digital, there will be plenty of FM Bandwidth for a pretty good quality set up!

Cheers, Cy
