Best device for Netflix?

What's the best streaming device for Netflix and maybe other services?
I've not used the Netflix service but heard a few people recommend it.
I'd be looking for a full 1080p experience if possible at the cheaper end of the market.
The only games console I currently have is a Wii and I believe the best that will output is 480p.

I think that the Apple TV 3 is the best of the ones I have

No problem playing full 1080p video with Netflix?
The only reason I ask that specifically is that I read a review on Amazon that said there was a problem with that combination and that they could play 1080p video on other devices without stutter so put it down to the ATV3.
