Workgroup settings can cause this kind of fun.
A quick workaround is to get the IP address from the Dune and then in Windows Explorer put '\\xx.xx.xx.xx' in the address bar.

Hello Trollslayer. I tried that to no avail any other sugegstions. I can see the dune in my network when i double click my computer it is sitting down the left hand side so why cant i play films in the dune it just says network ip address not complete or something.. My router is showing the dune as not being connected, by the way even though I can see it in my windows. Is it connected properly? Anyone!!

I don't understand : can you see your dune in the network view (left bottom part of windows explorer) or not ? If yes then you should be able to explore it. If what your are waiting for is your dune to appear as a drive with a letter, then you have to "connect a network drive".

Also : is your problem your dune not seeing your pc (so not able to play a movie stored on your pc) or your pc not seeing your dune ? It's really not clear

Hello Mr Eric. And thank you for your reply. Yes I can finally see my dune when I double click my computer down on bottom left I can see my dune on a shared network. Now my problem is I cant seem to be able to play my darn films of the dune I have scraped everything and pointed to the correct destination meaning my Dune and still no joy I do not know how better to put this to you all as my knowledge is very limited. But thanks anyway for all your help and support which is appreciated..

don't use yadis and zappiti at the same time, it's a mess...Start with yadis, and if you don't like it then try zapp.

Zapp is changing the dune internal HDD name, and this cause yadis (and other jukeboxes) problems. Check the root of your hdd, you should have a dune_folder.txt containing a simple line strorage_name=xxxx, just delete it and don't touch anymore zapp until you're sure that yadis is not for you.

For yadis to work, you need to settle the path for your internal hdd. In yadis configuration/folders menu, for an internal HDD you should use storage_name://label/path. Please post a screenshot for this menu, so i can check if you did it correctly.
