Programme that rips LPCM 5.1 intact...?

I use Make MKV to rip my Blu-ray collection for my Mede8er 500X2 but I have a number of early-ish Blu-rays that have LPCM for their lossless sound (The Prestige and The Rock to name but 2).
Make MKV has problems ripping the LPCM track and even though Thunbgen says it's on there, when I try and play it back, the silence is defeaning!
Anybody know of a programme that is able to rip the LPCM track intact please?

Clown BD will do it for you, then you can use mkvmerge to make the raw files into a mkv file

I use AnyDVD HD and Blurip, it hasn't had a problem with any discs so I haven't had to check.

The problem isn't with MakeMKV, it's with your streamer. I have the same problem. My PCH C-200 can't play an MKV with LPCM but my WDTV SMP can but it can't do PGS subtitles whereas the PCH can. I'm still looking for a one box solution.

MakeMKV now has lossless flac transcoding built in if you fancy re-ripping the discs though you have to manually activate the feature, that should give you working audio.
1) Enable expert mode in MakeMKV
2) Download ffmpeg static binary, in MakeMKV set path to ffmpeg.exe
3) Download flac profile into MakeMKV folder

You can then select the flac profile before ripping and it transcodes the audio. As JGM says the problem is the media player, LPCM in MKV support is rare not many players support it, the WDTV Live and Boxee Box are some of the few that do.

Thanks guys - this seems to work as I re-ripped The Prestige and there is a 6 channel FLAC audio file in the rip...though both that and the DD 5.1 track are really quiet...plus I have to set the Mede8er to LPCM every time I want to watch a disc that's been ripped this way as leaving it on HDMI passthrough results in a PCM 2.0 track...

Plus - and this is the biggie - I've had two fatal errors on Make MKV since I installed the required add ons and I had none whatsoever before adding them.
S'pose I'm gonna have to weigh up whether or not it's worth it for the handful of discs that actually have lossless LPCM tracks...or buy a WDTV player...

Yeah the transcoding thing is still very much a work in progress, could be the ffmpeg builds crashing too. You could try using the one provided on Videohelp it's a build from the same place (zeranoe) but maybe the one they picked out is more stable ?

You are a top man my friend...this is now working perfectly (apart from the odd fatal crash with about a minute to go...) but the volume was down to me having the physical volume set too low on the Mede8er...
Now have super duper 5.1 channel lossless audio on some of the best sounding films ever released on Blu-ray...The Prestige is superb on Reg A Blu as it's the only version with a lossless track - the Reg B version is DD 5.1 but still isn't too shabby...some other discs I have with LPCM lossless tracks are Ghost Rider, Tears Of The Sun and Hellboy - all superb lossless tracks I can now enjot on me Mede8er!
